From 21st January to 23rd January 2016, the mission of Nghe An province led by Le Ngoc Hoa – Provincial Commisioner, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People’s Committee as Head of the mission had visits for promoting investment in Bangkok, Thailand. Attending the mission were the Leaders of Department of Foreign Affairs; Centre of Investment Promotion and Development Consultancy – Department of Planning and Investment.
On 21st January, the mission of Nghe An province had a working session with the Leaders’ representatives from Thai Investment Department – Mrs. Chollada Areerajjakul, Director of Division of Foreign Affairs and cooperation and investment in Asian and Southeast Asian zones.
At the working session, comrade Le Ngoc Hoa – Vice Chairman of the Provincial People’s Committee on behalf of the leaders of the Provincial People’s Committee invited Mrs. Chollada Areerajjakul and her colleagues to attend the Conference of Meeting with Investors in Spring Binh Than 2016 held on 21st February 2016 in Vinh city, Nghe An. Mrs. Chollada Areerajjakul gladly accepted the invitation and emphasized the orientations for cooperation and investment abroad of Thailand in the next period, especially showing respect and much care to the environment and opportunities of cooperation and investment in Nghe An province.

On the same day, the Mission visited and worked with Mr. Chairat Sutejitsiri – Director of Thairoong Inter Biz company specializing in textiles. Mr. Chairat Sutejitsiri expressed his special concern about strengthening promotion of cooperation and investment in the field of textiles, was willing to be a bridge, called on the Thai enterprises to join in the cooperation and investment in Nghe An province in the field of textiles.

The mission was working with the Federation of Thai Industries

On 22nd January 2016, the Mission had the working session with the Federation of Thai Industries. Attending the working session were Mr. Thawatchai – Vice Chairman of the Federation of Thai Industries (FTI) and Mr. Chaovalit Leelasiwaporn – Director of Investment Promotion Board of FTI.
At the working session, comrade Le Ngoc Hoa introduced the overview of Nghe An province – the hometown of President Ho Chi Minh, as an attractive destination to investors; policy mechanisms and business lines which Nghe An province called for and attracted investment, and sent the Invitations to attend the Conference of Meeting with Investors in Spring Binh Than 2016 in Nghe An on 21stFebruary 2016.
Mr. Thawatchai said the Federation of Thai Industries was very interested in calling on Thai enterprises to deploy the projects of cooperation and investment in Nghe An province in the field of textiles, agricultural production and processing; medicines, etc. In addition, the members discussed the fields such as electricity, water, roads, etc. in which the province attracted investment.
In the next time, the Federation would send the Mission to attend the Conference and continue studying and learning about the investment environment of the province and the capacity of connecting cooperation and investment in the fields which both parties were interested in.
The Mission was working with Hemaraj Land and Development Company specializing in Industrial Zone Construction
On the same day, the Mission had an important working session with Hemaraj Land and Development Company. This was the top-rank Thai enterprise established in 1988 with the main fields such as Industrial Zone Infrastructure Construction, electricity production, environmental pollution treatment, real estate and Logistics service business. Attending the working session were Mr. David R. Nardone – Chairman of the Management Board cum CEO of the Company.
At the working session, Vice-Chairman of the Provincial People’s Committee Le Ngoc Hoa emphasized the content of cooperation in infrastructure construction in the industrial zones in Nghe An province, called on Hemaraj Land and Development Company to deploy the Project of Infrastructure construction in the industrial zones such as Zone D, Nam Cam, Tho Loc Industrial Zone of Southeast Economic Zone in Nghe An province. Mr. Bordin Harnvanich – Director in charge of industrial zones and Logistics service development – presented the results of the actual survey in Nghe An in November last year, emphasized that Hemaraj was very interested in deploying the projects of infrastructure construction in industrial zones as Zones D, Nam Cam and Tho Loc of Nghe An province.
The two parties discussed the conditions of deploying the projects, investment procedures, labour unit price, engineers, capacities of water and electricity resources, etc.
On this occasion, comrade Le Ngoc Hoa respectfully sent the letters of invitation of the Chairman of the Provincial People’s Committee to the key leading members of Hemaraj Land and DevelopmentCompany to attend the Conference of Meeting with Investors in Spring Binh Than 2016 in Nghe An on 21st February 2016.
Within the framework of the working program, the mission had the visit to the Hemaraj Industrial Zone in Rayong province, witnessed the extremely modern industrial zone infrastructure in the Hemaraj Industrial Zone, one of the most modern industrial zones of Thailand, visited the planning, landscape and environment of the industrial zone to be deployed within 10 years, 5 years and 01 year.
At the industrial zone now, there are 660 enterprises with more than 993 projects under deployment, whose revenues until June 2015 is 1.12 billion USD.
